Palletizers

Massman Automation Palletizers are built to provide rugged reliability for years of efficient, multi-shift operation. These are high-productivity, End-of-Line units which can be stand-alone or close-coupled to a Case Packer discharge. All standard pallet sizes, as well as special pallet designs may be accommodated, and pallet stacking patterns may be alternated tier-by-tier. Slip-sheet application between some or all tiers is optional. Any practical pallet pattern is possible. With PLC control, all pallet patterns are stored in active memory and may be recalled for quick and easy changeover, and new configurations may be added as needed. Designed to your specifications, one of these palletizers will meet your production needs.

Gantry Palletizer

The Gantry palletizer has a smaller footprint than typical palletizers, saving you valuable floor space. With a vacuum head this palletizer picks up a row of cases from the staging conveyor, orients them as necessary and places them on the pallet. The cycle repeats until the pallet is built. All Gantry Palletizer motions are servo-motor controlled. This makes for smoothness of motion at optimal speeds while attaining accurate placement of cases on the pallet. The result is high-efficiency and production goals are met or exceeded.

High-Entry Palletizer

The Massman Automation High-Entry Palletizer is a higher cases/minute application with a gentle case-turning device on the Palletizer's Infeed conveyor. This machine features rugged chain drives on the loaded-pallet conveyor and pallet forming lift. Cases are received at a high Infeed elevation and collated row-by-row. Each row is pushed onto a retractable-door deck. When the pallet tier is formed, the deck halves retract and drop the tier on the pallet. Pallets of opposite tier orientation may be formed, as well as optional numbers of tiers, "chimney pattern" pallets for cooling, and slip sheet application between some or all or no tiers. This machine features a lift-and-place style pallet dispenser, allowing reliable pallet feeding in spite of pallet imperfections that can jam typical "strip style" feeders.
